Unplug the router for 30 seconds.
Plug it back in, and wait another minute, and try to reconnect to it. Also try directly plugging your computer back in at this time.
I'm guessing its your parents internet as well? Make sure they paid their bill, if they dont have a computer or use the internet, they may have canceled.
Second, on the computer having the problems, press the Start menu button, and type in:
cmd
right click "CMD" and click "Run as Administrator"
In command prompt (CMD), type:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
Some of these steps may take longer than others.

On the wireless icon next to the system clock in the system tray/taskbar, right click the wireless, and go to "Repair" (It may also be called Troubleshooting) it should automatically try to detect the problem. Be sure to tell us what it says.
