I noticed that some users have nice little strip picture after their post saying for example "Windows XP User". How do I get those?

Okay, I found some i like.
And can get the code for them.
How do i add them to the end of my messages?
And how do I get them to switch every few seconds?

go to profile at the top of the page and go to profile>forum profile info
In the signature put the bbcode that it made for you from the animator

Thats what the animator is for.  You can add up to 10, add different animations, and how long it stays on each one
