I,ve just installed a D-Link 562IS internal modem into a computer that had never had one in it before. Since installing the modem, the TV tuner wil not pick up channelswhen I scan for them.
The tuner is a WinFast DTV2000 Hybrid PCI Tuner, the computer is Intel E67502.6Ghz Core2 Duo, MS XP Pro, ECS 512MB8600GT, Seagate 500G 32MB, 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600, Corsair 2G TwinX 6400C5kit, and I don't know what else is relevant.
I have tried uninstalling the modem driver and re-installing both the tuner and the modem, TV tuner still will not scan channels, however the program still plays back recorded video clips and is doing everything except scanning for channels + capturing live TV. I'm wondering if the computer is conflicted? Any help would be great, thanks.
