Can't access certain pages in IE, can in Firefox
    « on: May 14, 2009, 11:02:38 AM »
Please find below my original post, my SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log

So mine is an interesting system:
    Macbook running Bootcamp
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2Duo CPU
    T8300 @2.40GHz
789 MHz, 1.96 GB of RAM
    Partitioned hard-drive
Fully legit version of Windows XP Professional Version2002 Service Pack 3
I'm set up to automatically receive all windows updates
Running PC Tools Spyware Doctor NO Norton

I use the PC side while at work and have stumbled upon 3 web pages now that I can't access from IE7. (*****PLEASE NOTE- just downloaded IE8, which I am now running- same problem persists*******)

When I say can't access I am getting the message:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

One website is Mint.com. I can access any and all pages up until I try the login page. I can navigate the site as a nonregistered user but can not even get the login screen to display. I am a registered user. All 3 of these site I was able to access at some point in the past, but noticed over a period of a couple months that I had lost access to each.

The message comes up immediately when I try to enter one of these 3 sites. No delay or time spent trying to access the page I get an immediate "Done" in the lower left corner of my screen.

The 3 pages CAN be accessed from the MAC side of my system, and at least one (mint.com) can be accessed on the PC side if I run Firefox.

The other two sites giving me trouble are internal sites accessible only to my company, which dont generally work on anything but IE so can't test those. I HAVE given remote access to 3 different tech support guys with my company, who reworked all of my Internet settings, deleted all temp Internet files, cookies, etc. Have disabled pop-up blockers, firewalls, ad-ons, virus software everything...no fix yet. They gave up on my system, blamed it on bootcamp, and said contact my ISP.

    Anyone ever seen this?
    Thanks in advance!
