Dell Laptop keyboard troubles
« on: May 17, 2005, 02:23:08 PM »
Hey all,

I've got a problem with the keyboard on my Lattitude CPx.  The left hand <SHIFT> <CTRL> and <FN> keys are all really difficult to use.  Sometimes they work fine, but most of the time you have to press really hard unless you hit the " Sweet Spot"  I'm thinking something may have been spilled in it.  Can I just shut it down, pop off the tops and pour some alcohol in it and let it evaporate ?

Thanks !!!

Would that work for cleaning your tools?  I don't think so!  Keyboard probably has to be replaced.
