Problems booting computer

I just rebooted my computer about a week ago and now everytime i start it, it askes for the windows disk so it can boot off of that. what can i do to fix this?

Do you have virus protection? it sounds like you might have a virus or something, which has moved or deleted some of your Windows files... Have you made any changes to your system recently?
