Incredably Slow Computer

My friend has a computer that runs ultra slow.

Anti-Virus: Norton 360 Premiere Edition
Spyware: Super AntiSpyware

Boot up takes about 5 minutes or longer and general browsing on the computer is like we were using an old 486.

Spyware scans have come out negative, and virus scans have come out negative as well.
