    Windows mail causing computer crash
    « on: July 14, 2009, 04:54:18 AM »
Whenever I access my windows mail my laptop crashes. There is no error message but a blue screen saying -Page fault in nonpaged area-which counts down and reboots continually about 6 times.
    HP laptop
    Vista home premium
    AVG free version 8.5.387
    Virus db-270.13.13/2237
    Zone alarm firewall installed
    Windows Mail
    Tiscali ISP broadband

I hope someone is able to help solve my problem.

Did you try reinstalling the program?

Try the latest version, Windows Live Mail. You can get it by following that link.

Thanks for your response but looking at the link you sent doesn't  this refer to Hotmail and not Windows mail?

No, you shouldn't have to uninstall. It's really just an update process, rather than new installation.

As soon as I ran the link you provided the computer crashed so that wasn't the answer.
If you have any suggestions they would be appreciated.
