usb boot possible?

I am in the middle of restoring about 20 ibooks, powerbooks and 20 g3 and g4 towers. Is it possible to have the os installed via usb drive? I have OSX 10.4 but with that many I think by usb would be faster.

Can it be done?

yes it can be done, i have done it with windows...have not tried with Mac OS however im sure it is possible just do a search in google
