    blue screen of death

    i have had my computer for little over a year the hard drive was replaced once,i am running vista business and whenever i launch a certain application a blue screen shows up saying"beginning crash dumping of physical memory" i usually shutdown my computer by holding down the power button when i see this blue screen what should i do to alleviate this problem? :-\

    Post the complete BSOD error message including the gibberish...

    Go to System Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery Settings and uncheck "automatically restart". Next time the blue screen appears it will remain on the screen until you force a reboot. Post the entire contents of that BSOD.

    Download BlueScreenView
    No installation required.
    Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
    When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
    Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
    Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

        the crashed happened when i tried to use my webcam, i have a dell xps m1530 running vista business sp1

        So far, you had 2 BSODs. What exactly do you mean by "certain application"? What that application would it be?

        It's hard to say something conclusive from 2 BSODs.
        Do you have separate video card, or it's on-board?
