Form Intranet to Internet websites

I cannot connect to any websites.  I can, however, connect to all Intranet (Internal) web pages. Using the Tracert command can you help me

Sounds like you aren't connected to the internet if you can only access sites on your local network.

Is it me or does the tracert command just help you trace down an original IP address?

e.g c:\users\blahblah>tracert www.google.com

If you ping a domain name it gives you the IP.

Pinging google.com [74.125.67.100] with 32 bytes of data:
