Need a new Hard Drive!!!

All of a sudden my HDD started making a screechy whiny sound so I am looking for a new HDD. I figure if I'm going to upgrade I might as well do it right.

Choice one. WD Veloci Raptor.

Both are fast. Both are expensive. So what do you guys recamend? Suggestions are welcome. I will be using it for the OS (Win7) and a few small programs that take up no space.

Ok I found a better SSD. It is more expensive but it has better read/wright speeds then the Patriot.
