need assistance with a invalid audio file

Hi can anyone tell me how I could open an audio file that says is not valid I need to finish my project by next monday. PLEASE HELP ME! ???

what is the file ......mp3 wav........try window media player.....right click on the file .....open with wmp....

the file is a mp3 file and is set to open with wmp.  When I go thru wmp the file opens and has sound but when I tried downloading it to the cd it tells me its not a valid audio file

You copy Mp3 as data not audio.
