Cookies experation dates

Nothing important but I thought this was weird.

While browsing through my cookies (it's a slow night) I came across the expiration date of "Wednesday, August 22, 2283 6:00:00 PM".  274 years into the future and they are specific about 6 PM.

I have got a feeling that both myself, and many computers that I will have in the future, will be gone by then.

Your sure it says 6pm in the year of 2283?
My car is supposed to be delivered at 6:15 that very same day.  That's one heck of a backlog.

I talk to my computer all the time.  I talk to my cat too.  Get about the same results from both.

They both ignore me.
