    I have a P/B istart 1379( Bag of poo)  I upgraded the processor from  a celeron d 360) just enough to run vista badly, and the processor t e1200 and 2mb of ram instead of 512k comp flies  with the upgrades I have done so far<
      But can I fancy doing followinga e1200  to a celeron e1600  .I HOPE without having to update bios again as the link to Pb/UK has stopped
    I seam to remember I can have any chip up to a Pentium e2220 but it is the bios upbate I am thinking of
    mobo is a crap rc1415 made for P/B
    All I want to do is go for a e1600/e2220 s 775 800mhz chip at 6nm
    rc415 mobi s775(otherwise named as rio)

    To avoid any headaches down the road and avoid wasting money i'd suggest shopping for a MBoard/CPU combo kit...
