    computer needs help

    When I turn on my computer, it is giving me a message saying... The application has failed to start because WINNET.dll was not found. Re- installing application may fix this problem. I click ok, but it will not let me do anything else. The message just keeps popping back up! What do I need to do? Someone please help!! :(

      Try a system restore if possible, if not it could be>>

      wininet.dll file is infected by win32.alemod virus

      Run a Full Scan

      Go to the malware section of this forum and follow the instructions in the announcement at the top of that forum.
