installed Windows XP on acer m1641, but the audio is not working. Tried different versions of Realtek HD audio including the one posted here. All gave installation error.
this is a partial quote from an old thread here on this forum.
After much searching i found that to solve this issue go to the device manager then on to system devices disable or uninstall "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio" then install the audio driver.
Disabling it worked for me.
