resolution help

i've set the resolution so that everything is too big for my screen, i cant change it back because i can no longer click apply... please help me :(
i have also tried backing up to a date before i made my mistake and it didnt work
i have an emachines with xp, very basic

Did you happen to change the Font size in appearance ? ?

    Been there, done that...  Is the "Apply" button in a window that you can't seem to move or make smaller?  Or is it just out of reach, hidden under the "taskbar"?

    Try to reposition window using:
         o  Cascade
         o  Tile Windows Horizontally
         o  Tile Windows Vertically

    To access those functions:
         o  Right click on "Taskbar"; context menu appears
         o  Select appropriate one from context menu

    the apply button accelerator is Alt+A.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
