Windows Media Player and Media Library
« on: June 25, 2005, 09:07:32 PM »
Can someone tell me what file stores the Windows Media Player Media Library Playlists in?
I've ran a bunch of searches, and checked the registry and can't find it anywhere.

When you open a media file, it automatically adds itself to the Media Library, so I figure there must be a file that holds this information in it.

Thanks.

If you mean MRUs (Most Recently Used), I think they're in the registry. Are you just trying to delete them?
If so, try with http://www.ccleaner.com or EasyCleaner by ToniArts.

Windows Antispyware can also clean the WMP playlist for you.
