    USB problems
    « on: December 29, 2009, 04:49:50 PM »
My computer seems to shut down once a week with a blue screen that says BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER.  Also throughout the week and everytime I am on the computer a dialog balloon comes up at the bottom right hand corner saying make you usb driver run faster.  I go into the box and I remove the check from the box that says "tell me how to make my usb faster"  Even after that it still does it.

I read another about the BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER but couldn't make heads or tails out of it  ... sorry :(  Not very computer savy but can get around on it.

    Thanks
    Misty

I am having a similar problem with pocket drives and iPod.  A bubble pops up telling me that my device in the USB port is not working properly.  This problem only happens on my home computer so I know it is not the devices.

Desertarch, you need to start your own thread for support.  We don't allow hijacking of other threads.  It gets rather complicated helping two people in the same thread.

Are you doing anything specific when the error occurs or is it random? Please take a look in Device Manager for any errors.

I have a HP pavillion laptop with windows vista.

I don't use any external devices on my computer when I get the error.  The error comes up on start up and every 5 to 10 minutes when I am actively on the computer.

I hope this is all you need.

I checked device manager and there are no errors.  Everything says it is working properly.  I have about 6 that sayed there was no driver installed for this device.

6 what that said no driver ? ?
You need to re-install your MBoard drivers and re-boot.
They will be on the Driver CD that shipped with the machine...
