    Need to enlarge Firefox email window screen

    I have a new Windows Vista Home Premium Edition OS and have been using the Mozilla Firefox browser for my emails. But lately my space is so limited where I'm typing that I can't even see what I'm writing. I know I've typed some other stuff, but I can't see it. I can't even see below this line I'm typing now. There are ads that actually seem to be crowding in from the right side of the screen! Is there any way I can enlarge the window or screen size so that I can view a larger working space? Any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Just change the screen resolution (display properties)
