Non-Apple MP4 Player Download?
Almost a iPod but does not really play MP4.
Pardon me if this is the wrong place. But  on the back it has the Apple logo. Came from China. Got it cheap on eBay. No software included!

So my question is:
Can you use Apple software with this thing? Why does it not do MP4 files?

I may be wrong but I don't think you can use apple software on anything except an actual iPod.

You can't. CBC wrote an article on how iTunes doesn't work with regular MP3 players, etc.

It might not need software. Check if you can just drag and drop your desired music into it, like you would drag and drop files into a flash-drive.

Thank you both for your replies. On eBay it is called MP4 Player
It supports many addio formats, including MP3 and WAV and it has a LCD screen that will show JPG photos. Also will display TTXT files.

It has a small cartoon called 'DEMO.AMV which is a nice animated cartoon that plays with a soundtrack.
I tried drag and drop a MP4 and even a AVI fil into the thing, My PC shows the files are there,plus the memory indicator on the things shows I did use some of the 2GB flesh space.

Neither AVI not MP4 show up in the movie menu. The file does not have a file manager. Bit I did drop in a very large AMV file and it plays alright. Not great, just alright. I think I did a bad edit on the file. I don't know the exact pixel size.

Converting my AVIs to AMV is a pain. I was hoping MP3 work work.
