    hi
    i have purchase IBM lenovo with windows 7 but  i would like to chance for win xp because very easy to use win xp  can u tell me how to downgrade win7 to xp . if i  install win xp it's booting then blue screen appearing we can not go second step . what is the reason ( i cant install win xp through cd )  i want to use win 7 license  for xp  it is possible .i heard  through internet we can (first of all we have to install win 7 after that we have to inform to micro soft and we have to connect internet and for downgrade.
    any body guide me how to do pls

    downgrade windows 7


    The general procedure is to first backup everything. Make copies of critical drivers. Format he drive using XP CD.  Install XP on about 40% to 60%  of the drive space. Then install Windows 7 afters wards.

    I'm still on XP, but if I got a new computer with 7 on I would stay with 7.  I haven't upgraded because of how much time and effort it takes to go from a PC with XP and  lot of stuff to upgrade to 7 (maybe I'm just lazy).

    I would spend a few weeks getting to know 7 before I did anything drastic.  We are all going to be on 7 eventually.
