I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop with Windows XP. I didn't have virus protection for a long time, and once I got a message saying that my computer was infected, I downloaded Norton. I removed all the threats and I am no longer getting messages about viruses or any other threats. However, my laptop is now extremely slow. It takes about 10 minutes to load, and everything I do on it is pretty slow. Also, the internet is sometimes really slow and at other times I have no problem with it. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this without taking it in and paying money?
