I just upgraded to W7. It all went well but now I noticed I can't see my disk drives when I go into "Computer". It lists all my hard drives/partitions but not disk drives. Is there some where else I should be looking for them?

    Open device manager. Any errors?
Look in Disk Management - are the drives there?

One thing I just noticed, I had Windows Explorer open when I put a CD in and the drive appeared. I guess it doesn't show up until in use. But that makes it hard to burn a CD unless I put the blank CD in first then drag the files to it. I'll have to check that out.

Yep that worked. I put a blank CD in the drive to save some W7 updates and the drive appeared and I burned the files with no problems.
