You do have you monitor connected to the new card, right? And, how have you connected your TV, to what port on the card?
Have you searched through every screen in your BIOS? Look for something labeled Primary Graphics Adapter, or AGP ..., etc.
Anytime I connect my monitor to the new card I have no display, so I can't control the computer. The new card has an s-video port and that was connected to the TV.
I contacted Gateway/eMachines and they told me that I needed to Set the initial display first as the AGP slot. I went into Chipset features and changed AGP Driving Control to manual (seemed like the only logical option) and nothing improved.
This is what is under Chipset:
AGP and P2P Bridge Control [Enter]
--AGP Aperture Size [128M]
--AGP Driving Control [Auto]
--AGP Fast Write [Disabled]
--AGP Master WS Write [Disabled]
--AGP Master WS Read [Disabled]
--AGP 3.0 Calibration Cycle [Disabled]
--VGA Share Memory Size [64M]
It is really weird. The NVIDIA card is showing in Device Manager and the integrated card is disabled. My monitor is connected to the integrated card, but Device Manager says it's connected to the NVIDIA card.
It's driving me crazy.
