PCI cards

all my pci slots just stopped working, lights on network card are still on but none of the cards work, tried replugging them in but nothing different

any ideas?

Do you have virus protection? have you made any changes to your system lately? Do you have the computer connected to a surge protector?

have virus protection, scanned recently, no changes within last few weeks and it was on a surge protector

How do you define not working? Are they not detected? Are they not automatically installed? Are you using an AGP port for the videocard?
