Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't see it anywhere....
When adding a site to IE favorites sometimes the site has it's own icon which shows up when you drop the favorites menu. after a while it is replaced by the standard IE icon:
1> is this normal?
2> is there a way to retain the site icon?

Yes, this is normal. What happens is when you go to the site, they give you cookies and temporary files. This is why you see the icon. However, once you clear your temporary files, the image is gone.
