Print Screen Key
« on: July 15, 2005, 06:15:00 PM »
Hello.

I have a couple of questions.

When i use the key "print Screen SysRq" or "alt" + "print Screen SysRq"  on my keyboard, where did my image go?

The reason is because I cannot find the file on my desktop.

Thank You.

SD:

The image went to the Windows clipboard.  You must paste the image into another program (like Microsoft Word or Paint) by opening one of those programs and pressing the CTRL and V keys together.

The image will stay on the clipboard till you copy something else, then it is replaced.

Regards,
Doc

Win9x has a nifty little utility called "Clipboard Viewer". Most people don't know its there and it is not installed by default. It allows you do see exactly what is in the clipboard, clear the clipboard, or save it as a clipboard image.
