NTLDR is Missing Press Ctrl+Alt+del to restart

Hi i was trying to wipe my acer laptop and reinsall windows xp
I was booting the windows xp disk from the external cd drove and during the install i keep getting cant install winhelp.exe and win32k.sys ect so i canceled the install and now when i turn my laptop on i get NTLDR is Missing Press Ctrl+Alt+del to restart i have tried booting from cd and hard drive but i get nothing. And when the computer loads up all i can do is click on F2

Can anyone help me fix this problem

well because the setup did not work you hard drive is mising the ntldr with is placed their when you set up win xp. i had a simalar problem and my windos xp disk was damaged
