9500 GT problem

Hello,i have 9500 GT GDDR3 and from today it goes with tremple screen,i tried my monitor on another pc,works fine.
My 9500 GT GDDR3 512 MB doesnt have fan,it haves refrigerator

My os is win 7 64bit haves 4 gb ram 320 GB SATA HDD + 80 GB PATA HDD + 2 CDROM DRIVES,ONE CD-RW/DVD R SECOND CD-RW/DVD-RW i have ASUS M2N MX SE PLUS motherboards

What can be the problem?
and maybe that is reason why my pc is slow?

Are you trying to say there is graphical corruption on the screen?

Does it look something like this?



Is it worse than that? or better?

The first thing I can think of is heat issues, how how does the card get?

otherwise I would point the blame at the graphics RAM, and the only option for that is to get a new card.

i had a problem like what the screenshot showed but worse.

turns out it was a blown capacitor and i ended up soldering on a new one on.
Inspection of the actual hardware doesnt hurt.

just thought that might help at all.

I will say however graphical corruption is either caused by too much heat or a dying card.

Was the card new or used? If it is new, send it back for a replacement, if not then I would turn off the computer, leaving the power cord in BUT make sure you switch it off at the wall, this will ground it. Take off the side panel carefully and check the graphics card fan for dust or debri, if it is clean, power the machine up and ensure the fan spins.

Do not touch anything while it is running

If the cooling is OK, then the card is definately broken, and nothing short of shop repair can fix it.

Nikolasr, maybe try swapping graphics card from the working PC into the PC in question and see if monitor is displaying stuff ok again. If that works ok, I think you can probably safely say that it is probably a graphics card error.
