Hi, I have digital camera that is recognized by win7, but the old faithful xp camera and scanner wizard is all but gone. All I can get the new win replacement to do is to copy all 683 files from my camera.
Can someone tell me how to use the windows 7 (supposedly better) crappy wizard to simply download selected pictures from my camera with the same simple filename my camera has allocated, to a folder of my choice. Dont want tags, dont want coffee, just want my old xp like wizard.
So far the only way ive found to do this simple task is to take the memory card from my camera and use a card reader and my file manager to copy the ones I want.
If this is progress, i think im outa here.
