increasing the size of scanned picture
« on: June 30, 2010, 01:54:54 AM »
I am scanning a PAN Card which contains a picture and text. How can I enlarge the contents so that I can send it via mail. I had simply scanned and sent it but to no avail. Plz, help me out.....

Copy the contents to an empty directory and then use whatever editing tools are needed....save the resized files with a new name.

    hi Sanrishra,
if you mean the actual size not the pixels, then it is fairly simple. Copy the scanned item into an editing programme such as picassa or windows word,  crop out any unecessarry areas, borders etc. click on the scanned image and drag it out from one corner until it is the correct size. then save it in a new name and copy it to your email as an attachment.
    cheers, :)
