    to be specific, I ran chkdsk c: /f, restarted my computer and allowed it to check my disk, but no luck. So I decided to try chkdsk c: /r, and as I suspected my disk was repaired and now works fine. But, if you believe there is more to do, I will be more than happy to do it.

    I would like to get ComboFix to run and produce a log. Let's try this:

    Delete your copy of ComboFix; download a fresh copy, except before you download it, rename it to blackpudding.bat

    Navigate to Start --> Run, and enter the following command exactly as shown:

    "%userprofile%\desktop\blackpudding.bat" /killall

    See if ComboFix will run now
