    Toshiba plugin backup won't quit

    Plugged the backup harddrive in this morning to back up some files. When I try to stop it and unplug it msg says it is still active. The tiny activity LED has been lit solid all day, indicating that it is indeed busy. What did I do? How do I undo it?
    Thanks for any help. I am not very computer savvy so KISS, please. Dixieflash

      Report how it shows up in Disk Management...
      Right clik My Computer....select Manage...then Disk Management.
      Then right clik the drive and select Properties.

        How many USB devices? Only the Toshiba and a mouse. Tnx.
