    Errors:2,155,0 & 1068

    Laptop: ACER Aspire 7540G/OS Windows 7 64-bit/2.0GHz-3.0GB
    Unable to communicate PC with compact Canon Pixma MP170 scanner (recently printer drivers were upgrated to windows 7).
    USB ports changed, USB cable changed.
    Error:2,155,0 indicated.

    b.Window Image Acquisition (WIA) it's not anabled, error:1068 failure to start is indicated when try to start it.

    Any help welcomed;

    Start/Run services.msc and hit Enter...

    Enable WIA service...
    Re-boot.

      On enabling WIA service the error:1068 comes, "windows unable to start WIA on local computer"
