Enabling Cut on 08 macbook running OS 10.5.8
« on: September 02, 2010, 08:35:24 AM »
Hi I have been very much enjoying my macbook over the 2 years i have owned it. No crashing or freezing nothing. Bu my only problem is the cut. I can't seem to cut in mac. When I try to move a document to my flash drive mac copies the file. Is there anyway to enable cut in mac OSX 10.5.8?

Any help Would Be Great!

There is no Cut. You can move a file by dragging from one finder window to another, though.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

    Mac 0S X runs on Unix. you can write a script/command on the command to move your files..

    Code: [Select]
    $ mv *txt  /destination
