Keyboard and mouse unresponsive after sleep
« on: September 02, 2010, 03:38:49 PM »
Hi,
i have an acer aspire 5738, and sometimes after i lock it or put it into sleep mode i come back to use it and the keyboard and mouse pad don't work, however external keyboards/mice do, i have to switch the computer on and off again to get it to return to normal again, this problem is intermittent and does not happen every time. I know nothing about computers, is this a simple fix i am missing, or something more serious? any help appreciated x

On another thread. Someone said this:

Yes,
but this time I also changed a property of the keyboard; I actived it to wake up the system from standby. maybe that way the driver will "sleep" properly.
