joy stick not working for 1 game

i just got blazing angels 2. i have a joy stick that i also use for h.a.w.x but when i hook it up for blazing angels2 i cant get the game to use the joy stick.
ive looked in the options and have tried everything under the options menu, any advice?

What joystick do you use? Does the joystick come with software that will allow you to use keyboard commands? Does the game state what joysticks are compatible?

Logitech extreme 3d pro joy stick. there was no software. just a plug and play. i dont know how to tell what joy sticks are compatible with the game...

Thx for the link. i had some problems while playing hawx so im just going to look for a new joy stick.
