Is there any way for me to create a Vista DVD with backup files ?
    « on: September 10, 2010, 12:37:47 AM »
    Hi all,

I installed a fresh Windows Vista SP2 and activated online with retail key. I also backed up 2 files: pkeyconfig.xrm-ms & tokens.dat. Now I'm thinking about the way how to add these two files in Vista DVD in order that it will automatically activate off-line in case of re-formatting Windows Vista in the future.

Does anyone who has experiences know how to create a DVD like this please ?

I created the folders OEM\$OEM$\$$\setup\scripts , put pkeyconfig.xrm-ms & tokens.dat in scripts folder and put OEM folder in sources folder from Vista SP2 DVD.

All I need is a .cmd file and where do I put a retail key ?

    Thanks in advance

We do not assist with bypassing Copyright safeguards.

You will need to activate each time you re-install Vista.
