Please help guys. I have taken out a laptop hard drive because I need to backup the data from it . I would do it through windows , the only problem with that is that windows has gone totally corrupt. I have connected the HD to my laptop using a usb interface "Fine" ok the problem is the drive reads two parttions"G Recovery" and "H" The data is on "H" but when I click "H" it says drive is inaccessible paramter is wrong. I really need to get the data from this drive .....please help guys. I have done this procedure before and never had any problems retreving data. Best regards. Chris

What do you mean Windows is corrupt? That may very well be a problem with the HD itself.
