Virus?
« on: October 04, 2010, 10:00:47 PM »
Hi everyone!  :)

On my previous computer, after several years, my system start doing a series of beeps (6) at approximately 12:45am every night.  Shortly afterwards, about a month, I became infected with a series of horrible viruses which proceeded to spam the *censored* out of everyone.  It pretty well shut down my computer.

Last week, I purchased a brand new computer, and all has been fine. However, this week I noticed another series of beeps starting up at approximately the same time.

I can't find any trojans, malware or other threats on any of my virus scans, and I honestly don't know if the two are even related.  But, for fear of my computer becoming completely disabled, I thought I would post here and see if anyone has heard of anything similar.

I'm not terribly computer literate, but if anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much in advance!

This link will tell you what those beeps mean. Just count the series of beeps and go to the link to find out what is happening. It's a probably a software or hardware problem.
