Corrupted Files

Hello,

I have a major problem with my computer running slow because I believe it has a lot of files that are corrupted.  Are there any FREE software programs out there to rectify this problem?  All of the software programs advertise that they are free but their not.  They will check your computer for corrupted files...  But when it comes to actually repairing the corrupted files there is a charge (fee).  Looking for a legitimate free software registry file repair program that really is free.

What do you mean corrupted files?
