Why isn't my printer printing in black ink?
    « on: November 05, 2010, 10:39:08 PM »
I just bought a canon i80 printer and have set it up on my computer. I now have the problem that whenever I print something the color appears just fine but the black does not appear at all or it appears vary little. What is the cause of this and how can I fix it? Thanks for your help

Just make sure that the cartridge in question is installed correctly and that the tape stripe tabs are removed properly.  If that doesn't work then chances are the black ink cartridge is bad.
