    is there any way to use a proxie through the adress bar in IE or firefox instead of configuring the browser manualy

    You can use a web proxy like hidemyass.c*m, or any other web proxy .   but other than a web proxy I am afraid your sol.

      there used to be A way in older browsers but te same method no longer works and i have to run a proxy off a dedicated ip or it will be detected in a flash so anyone know of and web proxy servers i can download instead?

      Have you looked into using FoxyProxy for firefox? Its a great way to manage and easily switch through proxies when browsing the web.
