windows 98 or 98 se?

my computer has windows 98 se on it but its going slow and missing vxd files or something like that and i cant really download anything on the computer and i was going to reinstall windows but should i install regular 98 or 98 se i do not have any disc to install with yet i dont know which one i should get

Agreed.

The second edition of 98 had fixes for bugs in the OS and a few added features.

Not sure, but an upgrade to XP Home may be just $100.00 (USD).  In my opinion, XP combines the best features of Windows 2000 and Windows 98 SE and Me in one OS.

The computer may not support Windows XP. The requirements are very heavy in comparison.

i put that in and it says
