Can't play any games

 Alright so i need some help with my computer, every time i try and play a game on it it freezes and the screen either looks like the picture or half of it flashes blue and white.
this always happens like 15 seconds from when i start it, and the computer works perfectly for everything else, does anyone have a clue on what is wrong?
also, i have had this computer for about 2 years and played many high end games on it for that while perfectly, but i can't even play freakin' minecraft now!!

I had a similar issue before and it turned out that my video card had over heated and was now junk. i was able to do everything else but play games.

Check that your video cards contacts are clean and the slot is free of any dust. It may also be an overheating issue.
