Global warming is a fact!  It started 18,000 years ago.  It was caused by all the cars and coal fired power plants 18,000 years ago.  Oh, wait, there were not many cars on the road 18,000 years ago.

Mother nature does what she wants to do, when she wants to do it.  Change is just a part of life.

Ignore the above. The temperature of the earth is said to have been stable for most of almost 9 million years. During the past 3 million years there were cycles of rapid changes. Find references are on Wikipedia and other places.

You do realize that 18,000 years ago most of Canada and parts of the upper Midwest in the US were covered by glaciers.
