My computer DOESN'T detect my USB ports!

My USB ports (all 5 of them) have been giving me a lot of trouble lately....I plug in my devices (my digi cam, printer, keyboard, etc....) and they simply do not work, meaning that the computer cannot detect them. The USB ports are all plugged in correctly, so this could possibly be a problem with my computer. Please help, I need this fixed ASAP!

I want you to take a deep breath, then do the following:

Plug your devices in to another PC (borrow one if you have to) and see if they work. The odds of it being the devices are not good, but this is one way to rule that out. we need to be sure it is a computer problem, not a device problem before we begin doing stuff to your computer, okay?
