    win7 Libraries help

    In win xp My Documents was on the desktop and in it was My Photos  My Music  and so on.

    And you could save the whole File of anything in it.

    Am I right that in win 7 Libraries you can still find  My Documents  but it is just for storing Shortcuts to the Files you want?

    technically, the Windows 7 "libraries" amount to nothing more then aliasses to saved searches that search for a specific folder attribute that indicates that folder is part of a library.

    Or something. I forget the specifics.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
